21 Apr Good Clean Moto Life – Let that Bird Fly
Before all this, I was gearing up for the spring season and had already made some goals for the year. The truth is that I really wanted to do more consistent storytelling of our journey in more of the vlog format. I actually have 50 some ideas of different people /topics to cover that are closely related to what we have been doing for the last 11 years. You may have even looked back and seen the New Year’s day behind the scenes or the sunrise life vid I did on my buddy Elliott…if not check them out. When the pandemic took hold, events and shoots were canceled so was only natural to mess around and just tell whatever story was there to be told and to keep ourselves sharp. Our quarantine cooking videos were born but there are a lot of stories still in the bag from filming nonstop. We have more and more ideas brewing(so many it’s overwhelming at times) but this is something that I’ve been planning to share since it all came together. I wanted to add some more behind the scenes stuff but sometimes you just gotta let that bird fly and don’t let perfect get in the way of good.
We had the chance to work with our good friend Kevin Dunworth and a new (to American) clothing company called Meanbird. We did a 6 episode series tracking the progress of the build and talking with Kev along the way about his ideas, his inspirations both locally as well as in the industry. Here is the compilation video (with a little fun spot thrown in). The bike and video were completed for the reveal on March 12 for Daytona Bike week and of course, right before the oncoming pandemic took hold of the US.
