Second Annual Oyster Garden event at Fager’s Island this past Saturday was another delicious time! Oysters from 5 different companies in the Chesapeake Bay region, along with craft beer by Flying Dog & Evolution Craft Brewery were the heavy hitters on Saturday. Live music on stage was Pressing Strings. The Oyster Recovery Partnership was on hand to educate the customers on the benefits of recycling oyster shells. Fager’s Island has been a part of the oyster shell recycling program for over 4 years, and we hope to see more businesses follow suit.
