We love music, that is for sure. For me? Soundtracks are some of my favorites, as they are typically a compilation of music that fits in with the storyline. In my daily life, I fell the music I listen to is my soundtrack. I listen to music that either encourages my moods or is listened to in hopes of altering my mood. I have over 50 Spotify playlists, and am always creating new ones, altering those already made and sometimes deleting and starting over. Back in the day, I was the mixtape and mix CD queen! I made them incessantly, and in fact when I traded in my car last year I still had a book of mix CD’s made by me, listened to per my mood, in my car even though I had not used them in years.
This weekend we took a terribly un-scientific poll via Facebook to name the best soundtracks. This was after watching 4 movies in one day and remembering some good ones ourselves. The feedback was quick and varied, with a total of 187 comments, and over 75 soundtracks mentioned. So what else to do but to take the top ten and make a playlist to share with all from the top mentioned soundtracks!

To be honest, I do love most of these soundtracks, and have gone through and picked a couple songs from each for this playlist…But Singles is one of my all time favorite movies and soundtracks. I was in college during the 90’s and loved the height of the grunge movement, both musically and stylistically. I lived in baggy jeans, flannels and Doc Martens, that I still have to this day.
