Waking up early on a Saturday morning in June, with a To Do list a mile long but with a desire to enjoy the day is a tough internal struggle. Instead of doing what I feel is necessary, we began the day in a spontaneous manner. For those that know me, know that I tend to over plan everything, so this was therapeutic in nature. Again, being so lucky to live on the shore, we got up and pushed the kids out of the house to go grab breakfast on the beach, Anthonys of course! Walking on the beach early in the morning before the crowds take hold was so very relaxing, with the only others on the beach were the surfers in the water. This morning was a reminder to live every day to the fullest, enjoy the moment and to not dwell on those negative thoughts that cause stress.
