Crazy Fun In Berlin, MD – Live Music & Entertainment
This past Friday was the 2nd Annual May Day Play Day put on by Ocean 98.1 in the Town of Berlin, complete with tons of live music, dunking booth, food from Buxy’s and craft brews by Burley Oak and Evolution. Families, teens and people of all ages came to attend, in the name of having pure good clean fun, for real. It was an entertaining evening to say the least, and not just by the bands, as Todd DeHart, both of this website and host of the Party Zone on Irie Radio 98.1 was trash talking all the town kids, egging them on to dunk him in the dunking booth. This was all to raise money for the Worcester Youth and Family center that is also in Berlin.
After the family friendly portion of the evening was over, the fun moved into the Globe as Lower Class Citizens put on one hell of a show. Man I wish we could get more live acts to play in Berlin, that can bring the rock such as Lower Class…Don’t get me wrong, we here at GCFL love music of all types, but I think Berlin could use a little more excitement on a weekly basis, musically. Let’s work on getting more original music to play at our wonderful venues in town, and not just at the occasional events? Just sayin’
