This Saturday March 31st Fager’s Island will once again host one of the best events of the year, the Brew Grass Festival. All you can eat Southern style BBQ and all you can drink regional Craft Beer from Dog Fish Head, Evo, Burley Oak and Flying Dog all for 35 bucks in advance and 40 at the door. The bang for the buck is outstanding for just the food and beer alone, but then add in the incredible bluegrass music and its one hell of a deal!
The Chester River Run Off and the local boys of the Saltwater String Band play music for you and not at you. Even if you are not a bluegrass fan you will become one after you hear them play. A great event for many reasons but the mission of it is clearly to get the town locals together to take stock and say hi and even network prior to the busy season getting under way. This well attended daytime event from 1 to 5 is a the kick off to the season.
