Saturday evening was the second monthly art show, hosted by Six Eleven Salon & Gallery in West Ocean City. This month, they featured the works of photographer Nick Denny. Many of his prints focus on surfing, the natural beauty of waves and Ocean City events and icons. His works that have not yet been sold, will be on display throughout the month. I couldn’t help but make a purchase of my own, a nighttime shot of an old Volkswagon Beetle on the streets of Berlin, my hometown. A good crowd gathered for the night, with wine, cheese and a little Burley Oak craft beer. Conversations took place throughout the salon, over art, entertainment and local goings on.
