Sunday early afternoon drive to Easton, MD with beautiful sunny weather to make the travels simple. Quaint small town, in between Annapolis and Berlin, size-wise, as well as location. Seems to have many restaurants and locally owned shops, with just enough history to give the character to the town that we love. Some of those places were just starting to open, when we walked around the block and stumbled upon Scossa, with beautiful wrought iron tables on the sidewalk and on their patio. As it was a beautiful day, sitting on the patio was ideal but we couldn’t help but notice our beautiful the inside was as well, with earth tones, leather chairs, dark wood and granite bartop.
The menu for lunch was incredible, full of Northern Italian specialities of salads and sandwichs, all pasta is made in house. Kids menu was varied as well, with the standards such as chicken tenders, but the home made kind, NOT the manufactured kind. So delicious looking, that I was envious of Brodie’s lunch. We had the Parma Crudo and the Valsugana, with a glass of wine and a local brew.
After this visit, we decided we must make a return trip for dinner, maybe stay the night in Easton and enjoy more of the quaint aspects of the small town. Check out their website here.
