G Love Plays Free Show at The Starboard | Live Music Dewey Beach

For nine consecutive years, The Starboard Restaurant has played host to G. Love’s unique sound. It was a partnership that was founded quite naturally over drinks so many years ago after he sat in one night with Robert Randolph. This year, G. Love’s performance in Dewey Beach is a party punch that will kick off the weekend culminating in the Running of the Bull.

G. Love’s annual show at the Starboard Restaurant is a Dewey Beach summer tradition, and this year will be no exception. G. Love rolls into town for a show July 9th and he’ll be packing his acoustic sound and smooth style for all the fun-loving Starboard music fans.

Steve “Monty” Montgomery, owner of the Starboard Restaurant, is known for throwing the best parties in town, and, as always, this show will be free of charge to the public. Says Montgomery, “I love coming together with G Love each year for this event, and this year it’s going to be the trifecta this week with the Fourth of July, G. Love Thursday, and then the big bull run on Saturday afternoon.”

As for G. Love? It’s the best of all worlds. He gets to visit with his family in the area, enjoy the beach, and connect with the local crowd. He loves being a part of The Starboard’s summer line up, especially because he enjoys looking into the crowd and seeing all the familiar faces and the happy smiles of relaxed vacationers.

The Starboard Restaurant has put together a week so full of fun, you’re gonna need a couple of days off work to recover! Kick off the one and only Running of the Bull weekend in Dewey Beach with G. on Thursday, July 9th. G Love’s show is 21 and over only, and because this show is totally free, and highly anticipated, the place packs to capacity by 9PM, so get there early and stay late for this premiere musical event—only at the Starboard!
