songwriters-on-the-bay-7947-web

Last Friday at Fager’s Island I was lucky enough to be able to check out Songwriters on the Bay which was hosted by Fager’s Island as well as GoodCleanFunLife.com. The show featured Nate Clendenen, Blake Haley, Cliff Hillis, Robert Mabe, Nancy Micciulla, and Skribe.

Songwriters on the Bay started at Fager’s Island at 8pm and by 8:30pm there was standing room only. After a few minutes of patiently waiting I was able to snag a seat. The entire dining room and bar were full of people enjoying and listening to these performers.

The artists sang their own original songs, as well as great covers, and embraced various genres of music. It was an absolutely great event for fans of any type of music. They played their own styles of rock, pop, country, blues, bluegrass, and folk music with acoustic guitars and in some instances banjos, to pull together a great variety of music.

They started off by each playing a few songs, sometimes singing together, took a small break and then each played their own individual set.

I would highly recommend going to see any of these artists play. They’re all generally within a 200-mile radius. Nate and Blake are from Ocean City, Cliff is from Philadelphia, Robert is from Winchester, Nancy is from Rehoboth Beach, and Skribe is from Annapolis.
