Another season drew to a close for the Salisbury Roller Girls last night as they took on the Charm City’s Female Trouble on their home rink. To say these girls are impressive would be an under statement of epic proportion. Our local team that draws from a limited pool of talent is nothing short of amazing and competes on the highest level against the toughest girls around. Roller derby is no joke, training hard playing hard and wearing the the bruises and casts to prove it. I had the distinct pleasure of having one of the All Star Jammers , Lexa Cution, come on my Radio show the night before the bout and as she had predicted last nights bout was a hard fought physical bout, that ultimately saw the defeat of our beloved girls. we look forward to there return in March and will no doubt be harder, better, faster, stronger.
