Woke up in the middle of the night, with anxiety in the pit of my stomach. Every couple months it happens due to stress that happens during waking hours. But lately, I have been on edge more than usual. Some of you may say, “How is that possible?” but with two sisters due to deliver their babies any day now and being on call for one of them makes it difficult to sleep soundly some nights. I should be super excited to welcome two more additions to the Sondberg clan, and deep down I am! I just tend to worry about all of the little things first.
Received a text at 7 am from mom, Britt is in labor and we are now just waiting patiently! In what seems to be perfect timing, came across this very soothing video created by local film makers Forever Lucky Films, including one of my favorite songs. It seemed to cause me to focus on the positive, and be ok with the fact that I cannot control all that happens around me. Have a little faith…
