MC and vocalist Stephen LeBelle has been singing, rhyming and writing songs ever since he was a little kid. His poems became lyrics influenced by the experiences of his growing up in the DC area and in Jamaica – singing gospel in the church choir, listening to the Fat
Boys with his brother in the back seat of the family station wagon when hip-hop was fun, singing the songs of Motown to complete strangers while walking down the street, singing reggae along with the sound systems playing on the Caribbean coast.

Stephen’s music stems from the heart and his passion for standing up for what is good and what is true. Empathy is revealed through his music with hope that his words will reach those who think they are the only ones. Whether it’s a party track or a song about politics, love, happiness or sadness, Stephen’s purpose is to uplift and share
insight on heartfelt lessons of life.

Stephen LeBelle has played venues throughout the East Coast — both as a soloist and with his group The Soul Scrolls. He has worked with producers, including Chief, Rice the Beat Chef, and Christian Hales from The Afters Cool Society. Stephen LeBelle’s unique,
smooth and hard-hitting style, blending hip-hop and neo-soul, draws you in to the essence of emotion.

Stephen LeBelle now lives on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Maryland.
