Another fun part of the weekend was a day trip to the Maryland Rennaissance Festival in Crownsville. If you have not had the opportunity to experience this festival, you have a couple weekends left. The costumes, food, drinks and craftsmanship that is on display, along with entertainment of all kinds, truly gets you in the mood to fully participate. You see people of all walks of life, dressing in different roles from the Renaissance era…I for one dressed in some pirate garb…closest thing I had to the era, but I think I fit in rather well. If I had unlimited funds, I would have walked out of there with a full wardrobe.
