Friday night was the Ocean City Parrothead Club Mardi Gras Carnival, the culmination of 6 weeks of fundraising competition. For those who are not familiar with it, the local Parrothead club nominates a MardiGras court, this year, 3 men and 3 women, who over the course of 6 weeks hold events to see who can raise the most money, the winner being the queen and king who raised the most. The beneficiary of these fundraising efforts this year were the Worcester Youth and Family Services and the PJ Aldridge 
Foundation.
Over $120,000 combined was raised this year, beating all records! This years winners were Tammy Cebula and Buddy Trala.
