When One Summer Ends, Another Begins!

For those of you reaching for the pumpkin spice lattes and your overpriced, faux-leather boots, hold on just a damn second. Not to knock the fall-lovers or the season itself, but it is in fact still summer (for another few weeks at least), and in that vein, it is time to celebrate THE most wonderful time of year – September. …

Steamy hot weather prevailed this past Friday as the annual Bathtub Races were underway on Main Street in Berlin, MD. Weather certainly did not keep spectators away from this years race, with more contenders than we have had previously. Mystery Girl Still at Large Ahead of 20th Annual Running of the Bull

Michael McDonnell and 35 friends decided to pay tribute to Pamplona’s Running of the Bulls in 1997. Back then, it was a slightly boozy, mostly harebrained idea…the product of late night banter and the impression that was left after McDonnell visited Spain and went to the Festival of San Fermin the year before. During this brief pause I have a warm sense of schadenfreude in watching the tans fade …

Return of the Mack(y’s)

Oh sweet, sweet summer, you are so close we can taste you. Then again, perhaps that’s the Deep Eddy Peach talking…Either way, we are ready for summer to get her sweet ass here so that we can comfortably enjoy our beverages outside, seven days a week. With summer’s arrival comes the return of one of our favorite Ocean City watering …

Highlights of The Starboard Opening Weekend | Dewey Beach Events

Another Opening Weekend at The Starboard come and gone, and truth be told, we barely survived. Between Natalee breaking her toe and Todd literally selling the shirt off of his back, it’s a miracle we are living to tell this sordid tale. All jokes aside, the three-day extravaganza went off without a hitch and served as a very welcome reminder ...

Starting New St. Patrick’s Day Traditions in Cambridge

So this year we decided to do something a little different for our weekend St. Patrick’s Day plans (see, in America we like to get the most out of every holiday by celebrating it not just on the actual holiday - March 17 - but on the Saturday before as well. Excessive? Of course it is, this is America). Instead ...
