Good Grub at Guidos Burritos – Ocean City Dining

Published on June 24th, 2011

What a terrific way to celebrate 14 years of marriage, by heading to the hustle and bustle of the Ocean City Maryland boardwalk to check out the latest restaurant to open downtown. Guidos Burritos is located just up from Tony’s Pizza, between North Division and 1st street. For being on the boardwalk I was impressed with how large and open the place felt, all with the comfort of being tucked away in a Mexican cantina. The decor is spot on, and very festive with a “Party Skull”. To explain they have a disco ball above the center of the bar with a steer skull hanging behind it. Difficult to describe, but pretty unique.

The menu is full of a diverse array of burrito concoctions, that I cannot wait to go back and try each one! Our first visit this week, we tried to Black & Blue Burrito with skirt steak, crumbled blue cheese with smoked paprika aioli & agave drizzle….My mouth is watering at the thought of it. We also enjoyed the Vinny Ba Burrito…the name was the hook, couldn’t pass that up, even though one of our friends celebrating with us didn’t know who it was named after, blasphemy! A burrito stuffed with sausage and peppers with spicy chorizo, grilled green and red peppers, charred onions with fire roasted salsa and smoked chipotle aioli. For everyone over 21, you MUST get a Dirty Sanchez…Heaven in a shot glass, seriously!

Thanks Marci & Christian for the great dining experience!
