Hooked on SUP!

The house we rent every year with my family is on the Sound in Nags Head. A great location on a cul-de-sac with nothing but golf course greens and the sound for a view from the upper decks. Every year we rent kayaks for the week, but this year I thought it would be a great change of pace to try a stand up paddle board. So far everyone almost everyone has tried it, and I am hooked. Carrying it to the Sound is the most difficult part, and once you gain your balance on the board, it is quite peaceful. My 10 year old has been the only one to NOT lose their balance and fall. She even takes the younger kids out for rides, like a taxi. Benefit of our family vacation is, that when it is over, we head home to OUR beach. SUP will definitely be something that we will do as a family from now on.
